When Charlie finally talks about his family. That was beyond heartbreaking. Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler were amazing in this.

POTC: At World's End -

When Elizabeth [sp]sees her father on the boat and tells him to get on the ship.[/sp] :(

Sweeney Tood -

[sp]When Sweeney realizes who the Beggar woman is.[/sp] Johnny was so good.

The Prestige -

When Algier is trying to find out about the knot and doesn't get an answer. The "How could he not know!?" scene was perfectly played by Hugh Jackman.

Eastern Promises -

[sp]When Kirill is at the river about to drown his baby sister and Nikolai talks him out of it.[/sp]
 
Many scenes I found moving were have already been named, so the ones that have'n been yet

Equilibrium - Preston is scratching down the blurry paper from the window and sees the sunrise. Mr. Bale left me in awe in this scene (I didn't cry but I thought my heat stopped for a second).
Leon - The end :(
Brotherhood Of The Wolf - When de Fronsac finds Mani dead.
Anna And The King - When that one girl and her friend get beheaded.
The Emperor and the Assassin - Couldn't hold my tears back by half of the movie.
Amadeus - When Salieri helps Mozart to finish his last piece and Mozart's death.
The Last Samurai - The very last fight sequence, when all the samurai run towards the army.
Grave of the Fireflies - This is the saddest anime ever, ever, EVER. Both deaths are hardly bearable.
Brokeback Mountain - Jack, I swear...
Philadelphia - Again the end.
When A Man Loves A Woman - This movie was overall sad, but a very moving monent is when he realizes she doesn't need him anymore.

Crap, I am Sam the whole freakin' movie!!! Ohh Lord.

And in 21 Grams :eek: Best emotional scenes can be found there alone! Benicio, Sean and Naomi dominated like true vets. That was something to see. Hands down.

I definitely have to agree on this one. Normally I don't get too emotional over movies but this movie and especially the end (when the music just stops right in the middle of the song when the trap door opens...) totally got to me.
Another scene that made me both cry and angry was the ending of Pan's Labyrinth with Ofelia's death/murder. It really showed that reality can be so much more cruel and horrendous than any horror movie with monster could ever be.
 
Oh, there have been so many great emotional moments on the big screen. Captain von Trapp singing with his children for the first time in The Sound of Music, Rose jumping back onto the sinking Titanic to be with Jack, and Hallie and Annie's reunion in The Parent Trap are just a few of my favorites.
 
The best emotional scene I've ever seen was Sean Penn in Mystic River . When he finds out his daughter is dead. Oh man. I had to pause it, I was crying so hard. It's just so raw and heartfelt. I just could completely believe that it had really happened to him. And the scene where he's on the porch after her funeral talking to Tim Robbins and he's talking about how he can't cry for her, and he's got tears running down his face, and it's just so heartbreaking! All I could think was, "He totally deserved that Oscar!"
 
The Notebook when Allie is yelling at Noah in the rain on the dock about not writing her in 7 years and him telling her he did for a whole year. Then a very emotional, passionate embrace/kiss

Old Allie's alzeimers returning during a dinner with old Noah *bawl*

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: Joel's last memory of Clementine. Everything about the scene is just so sad.. from the collapsing house around them to Joel in the car with his friends when they're questioning him about who Clem is and he says she's "just a girl." with so much regret.

I don't think there has ever been a movie to make me cry so much.
 
Adria I agree! That scene is so terrible. Poor Derek. If only the brother had listened...

Linds The man in the moon seriously disturbed me. Hehe. It was so tragic and Reese Witherspoon was right in the middle of it making me cry so hard. Those were tough scenes to get through.

In Cruel Intentions it was too sad that when he finally got it right, it got him killed. But what a lovely act of sacrifice for love. :love:

21 Grams, ahhhhh, what performances in this movie. I still cry when Benicio's character gets home after the incident and is so shaken up he can barely talk. Fantastic acting, and totally heart wrenching. :bawl:

Mavericks Oh yeah. "My friends, you bow down to no one" cue me in a river of tears.. It never fails.

Also I cried while watching A walk to remember, Passion of the Christ, and Cruel Intentions ( when Sebastian died :bawl: )
