Best Emotional Scene

check out the scene in my signature. its a great behind the scenes look at a really emotional scene from Yentl!!!

That scene in the bar in Stepmom...gets me everytime. I normally have to watch an entire movie to make me cry at the emotional parts---but that movie, I can just watch that one scene and I'm in tears. The way Julia's voice breaks is just so heartbreaking and real.

:spoiler:SPOILER WARNING FOR "MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS"

Trinity dies?!! :(

END OF SPOILER FOR "MATRIX: REVOLUTIONS"

Anyone remember The Cure? I haven't seen it in ages but I remember sobbing at the end of that movie, when you see the boy holding one converse shoe in the coffin.

The Man in the Moon with Reese Witherspoon will always, always kill me. I watched it a while back and could not get it togther. So tragic, and beautifully acted, directed, everything.

Definitely the Sally Field scene in Steel Magnolias. It's just perfect.

Crash - When Lara tells her mother her father hasn't got the cloak and runs in front of him so he won't get shot. It's really sad when her father realizes she's ok and she says "It's a really good cloak".

Matrix Revolutions- when Trinity dies it gets to me everytime.
Return to Me-when the dog is waiting for Elizabeth and Bob breaks down and tells the dog she's never coming back. Such a sad moment.
A Beautiful Mind- when Alicia is visiting John in the hospital and he tells her one of his halucinations and he has to be dragged away.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest-when Chief suffocates Randle.

I remember seeing this movie when it first came out. [Could barely stand Jena Malone's character. But the little boy was precious.] The scene that got me was Isabel [Julia Roberts] admitting to Jackie [Susan Sarandon] her fear of taking her place, once she's gone. "You know every story. Every wound. Every memory. Their whole life's happiness is wrapped up in you. Every single second. Don't you get it? Look down the road to her wedding. I'm in a room alone with her; fixing her veil, fluffing her dress, telling her no woman has ever looked so beautiful. And my fear is: she'll be thinking, 'I wish my mom was here.'" The way Julia Roberts' cries that last line ...

"The Sea Inside" - the whole movie!

"The Painted Veil" - the last 25 minutes are incredibly evoking and painfully beautiful. [sp]When she goes back to their place and doesn't want anyone to move his things.[/sp] Oh crap. I was trying my hardest not to cry.

"Something New" - Brian & Kenya have a very heated argument in the middle of a store. It wasn't anything to cry about, but it was very emotional and TENSEN, and both actors nailed it.

"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" - Carmen's phonecall to his father. "Are you ashamed of me?" Gosh... That America Ferrara is too good, I tell ya. Too good. I cried for like 10 minutes after that scene.

I forgot my* most* emotional scene! Legends of the Fall , when Tristian sees his brother getting shot, and his emotional plea for him not to be dead.. that was sooo sad :(

OMG... I remember crying and crying when I watched this as a kid!

Turner and Hooch My professor edited this movie  But I was watching it a couple of weeks ago and I had to turn it off. I could feel the water works coming and we were no where near the ending.

That scene gets me so choked up. I love River, and it is also especially sad when his character disappears at the end.

1. a walk to remember

2.steel magnolias

Maybe not the best...but it's something new.

The Reader: The look on Hanna's face when she's told she has a guest up until the moment she realizes that no one is coming for her. And seriously, the last 30 minutes of The Reader got me. Just watch Kate---she has so many emotions go through her in this short time period.

CINEMA PARADISO; Toto watching the montage of all the classic screen kisses.
