My OCS application is about to be up for review and I just finished MEPS. The only thing standing between me and the panel is choosing my top preferences for duty stations. Any suggestions? I know the locations I list will be only PREFERENCES and are not by any means a done deal...but I want to make sure I put down good ones just in case I get lucky and get one of my top 6 choices.
Here's what I'm looking for in a duty station:
International or stateside...no preference either way
I do not want to be in the middle of nowhere. Lots of businesses and activity are ideal
If I could be next to the ocean, I would
Germany is my number one pick right now
Lots of people...lots of cultures
My top three branching preferences are:
Medical Service Corps
Quartermaster
Adjutant General Corps
Like I said...it's anyone's guess where I'll actually get sent or which branch I'll be assigned to, but I have to list preferences so I thought I'd get some feedback. Thank you!
