Best Drummer Ever

Well welcome, I agree he should have been on the list, though im not really the man to help you as I think Grohl is the best, which im guessing is Dru sacralige.
 
Off of the list, the Moon. But in general, jazz drummers are way better than rock drummers. Buddy Rich or Dave Weckl is probably the best of all time, but Elvin Jones might be my favorite.
 
Moon and Bonham without doubt 1 and 2 in whatever order, but what about other british and Irish drummers.

I dont mean to come out like a jerk but i just have a serious problem with these poll options, Neil Peart being excluded whipes it clean of any real credibility, and charilie watt's isnt even a top 40 drummer IMHO...Just because hes in one of the top 10 greatest banRAB of all time dosent mean hes one of the top 10 greatest drummers of all time.
 
^ Word, Meg White is nothing special, however i wouldn't say shes horrible, she does her job appropiately, she keeps the beat suprisingly well for a band that has NO bass player to help add to the beat, she has to do it all by herself, what she plays is so simple a 1 year old can do it, but she manages to keep the rhythm perfectly and can keep up with jack without the asistance of a bassist, which is something i dont think is as easy as it may seem...My point is, she does her job and she gets it RIGHT, she adRAB perfectly to the white stripes sound, if they had a bassist like Geddy Lee and a drummer like Neil Peart it would just ruin the music completely, they are perfect in Rush but in the White Stripes they would be trying so hard to outshine jack that the music would lose all of its simple beauty and magic.
