Best digital slr camera for wildlife photography.?

Some advice please.
I want to purchase a good quality digital slr camera that would suit taking pictures of wildlife; mainly birds. I will also be using it for a trip to South Africa so I will be taking lots of safari pics too.
Good continuous shot spec need also.
I am looking at around the £200 to £400 price range
Any ideas?

Probably a Nikon D90 or a Canon T1. I would suggest visiting the bhphoto.com and adorama.com, familiarizing yourself with their menu and filtering options. Look at available telephoto and telephoto zoom lenses. Your choice of lens might be the best guide to which camera body to get. Photozone.de has reviews of many, but not all, lenses.
