Best digital camera setting to shoot art?

I'm shooting art for my portfolio with my digital camera and was wondering what the best setting was for this? Set to SCN there are different settings like portrait, sport, landscape, flower, stage, self portrait. It's a Kodak Easyshare Z1485 IS 14mps
 
I'd say stick it on Manual and learn to use aperture and shutter speed - that way you can have REAL control over the image.

... But that takes ages to learn.
I'm a Commercial Photographer, I shoot using an SLR and if you intend to shoot art I'd suggest doing the same. (Unless you're doing something experimental, then use a pinhole camera or x-ray or something people don't usually do...)
Still, set it to "flower" which is actually macro mode.
It'll be far superior to the other modes you have there.
