best degree for aspiring writer in media industry?

I've wanted to be a writer since I can remember, & i've been getting really into movies/TV scripts recently. I'd love to do this for a career, & i'm wondering which degree would be best?:

Film/TV Studies or Creative Writing

Hey cool, I love that kind of thing too, I probably say Creative Writing as it focuses on your writing ability and you could probably specialise and choose film/tv script-writing as a research topic/dissertation or to specialise in, rather than just straight film/tv studies as it would focuse less on your writing ! Or you could consider a straight degree in English, then you have a broad range of opportunities for specialisation and you'd also be very knowledgeable on books, plays(good for scripts etc), poetry and often these are adapted into films and television programmes
