I'm sorry, but the words "Innovative" and "Hanna-Barbera" don't mix. :sweat: Not saying you can't like them or anything of that sort, but... Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo, innovative?
Now that I think about it the mid-late 00's were really good for anime. We got Haruhi, Higurashi, Eureka Seven, Paradise Kiss, Nana, Honey & Clover, Le Chevalier D'eon, Death Note, Monster, Rumbling Hearts, the rebuild of Evangelion, Ponyo, Paprika, Toradora, Lucky Star etc.
There was plenty of good anime to watch this decade.
I'll also agree about the 40s and 90s. I doubt we'll get the same level of "people of all ages watching it" and getting shorts played before movies from the 40s, and the 90s seems to shine by itself (and I'm not saying that from nostalgia, I was not a kid by then).
