Best Christmas films

Bad Santa is the most depressing Christmas film I've ever half seen! I watched the first 30 minutes last night, and it was enough to turn me to drink! ... so I turned it off.

The Polar Express. Ahhhhhhhhh. I do love it! As well as the Home Alones (1 + 2), The Santa Clause (1 + 2 - with Tim Allen), and Santa Clause: The Movie --- these stand out for me in particular. The Snowman is also a great Christmas classic!

- as well as;

Elf & Miracle on 34th Street. I make a habit of watching these every Christmas.

Though non-Christmas films... Bridget Jones, Love Actually & Harry Potter always puts me in a Christmas mood!

Don't understand this bit? What makes you think they aren't Christmas films? Is it because Bridget meets Mark Darcy at her mother's Christmas party, and because the whole of Love Actually is set at Christmas time and culminates in a children's nativity play and Bill Nighy singing Christmas Is All Around?
