Best cheap wine?

i like cavot----merlot, cab, reisling (its an itailian wine, cost 7 or 8 bucks)

american--ravenswood's cab. (about 10 bucks)

It depends on kind of wine of course.. i like the Bordeaux so i often buy a Brouilly Chateau de Saint Lager(2004 or 2006) about 8 euros.
I dunno if you can find it outside France tho :unsure:

Mmm... wine. Red wine. You've definitely sparked my interest here, lol.

A few good, and cheap, red wines available are - both under $10;
Black Swan (Australian) - Shiraz&Merlot or Shiraz&Cabernet (interesting combinations)
Beringer (Third Century or Founder's Estate) - Merlot or Cabernet

My absolute favorite red wine is Pinot Noir... so I don't hesitate to spend the extra pennies when I can. :)

Defy has hit the nail on the head I think. For sheer value for money it is very hard to beat an Australian Shiraz. Something like Hardy's Crest can often be found for around
