I have the HerStyler. They were selling this straightener at a kiosk in the mall and a woman asked me to try it on my hair. I let her and my hair looked amazing! My mom purchased one (in pink) for me for Christmas. They have a range of colors and patterns (like zebra) to choose from. They come with a matching box and protective traveling cloth bag. Also, there is a temperature control that you can adjust to meet your needs and an on/off switch which allows you to keep your straightener plugged in if wanted. I love my HerStyler and think it does a better job of straightening my hair (and my friends' and family members' hair) than the Chi. Plus, they're way cheaper! You can easily find them online (Amazon has them for as low as $23.00). I'm not sure what retailers in your area sell them, but they're cheaper online as most things are. I have fine textured hair; however, I have a lot of hair that is also frizzy. It works wonders on my hair. I have also used it and seen it used on my friends' and family members' hair that is thick and frizzy, as you described your hair. It also works wonders for them too! Hope this helped
