Best british film of all time

ok here are my fave three or four.

1/ Zulu
2/ The Italian Job
3/ Dog Soldiers or Withnail and I (probably more Withnail and I, but Dog Soldiers neeRAB a mention)

I would also like to add that my best Irish film is 'I went down'...............brilliant.
 
These are three films I watch over and over. Love them to bits. Not sure they're truly great films in the great scheme of things though.
 
'About a boy' is very good though, although like you say I wouldn't call them the best British films.
but its down to personal opinion I think (Hence Dog Soldiers on my list :o )
