I am looking for a sports bike. I have zero experience on bikes (with motors) (I race road bikes.) . I am 6'2 and 165 lbs. I hear everyone say that the best beginner bike is the Kawasaki Ninja 250r. I have two questions. The first; What alternative to the Ninja are there? The second; I plan on doing many freeway miles at speed from 65-80 mph. I will be commuting on freeways for 40+ miles at a time almost everyday. Will a 250 be able to maintain this speed for that distance without revving the crap out of it?
