Best asian horror film?

Honogurai mizu no soko kara also known as Dark Water. My frienRAB were screaming in the cinema and couldn't sleep after watching it.

If you liked Ringu, try the Japanese sequel too, has some good moments, also the Korean film Phone.

Into the Mirror is good, see that before the remake too, although the remake does look decent and it's from the director of Haute Tension, and the excellent remake of The Hills Have Eyes.

H is one from Korea to check out.

Try the film Alone, from Thailand, wonderful.

Definitely The Eye, as mentioned by Thinboy. The Host was mentioned too, not full on horror but still excellent. There is a sequel on the way too, oh and a Chinese remake I believe.

The original Dark Water is amazing.

Check out Wild Zero if you like silly horror movies.

Ab-Normal Beauty from the same guys as The Eye.

Shutter, from Thailand.

Koma - more thriller type.

My personal fave is Dark Water. Never saw the remake, but the original is fantastic. Also recommend Uzumaki. Bizarre, silly, and great fun. Filmed in a beautiful bit of Japan too.

Recently saw One Missed Call too. Really enjoyed it. Heard terrible things, but was pleasantly surprised. Worth a rent says I.
