I do like NMH, first time I heard Aeroplane I didn't like it, but the indie kiRAB had me give it a second listen and it grew on me.

His best albums are I ain't Marching Anymore and All the News Fit To Sing. If I find links I'll pm. I think he was a million times better than Dylan in the sense that he could play guitar better, he had one hell of a voice and the few times he plays harmonica are wonderful.
