I am looking into getting 2 12" Fi BL subs. 1000rms and i'm going to get the dual 2 ohm.

I wanted to some ideas on good 2000rms amps that put out good, clean and strong power. I plan on using 4 gauge RF amp kit, would these be fine or should I upgrade to a bigger gauge.
Has to be monoblock amp. Probably just gonna stick with the RF amp kit and get a bigger fuse plus do the Big 3.

Bigger guage... 2 guage would be the minimum i would go with personally...
and your looking at a .5 or 2 ohm load.... so personally i would go with some from rdaudio...
http://www.rdaudio.net they make excellent quality components with huge amounts of power for a really good price :-)
Highjumper doesnt know what hes talking about... he could deffinalty use a better flow for his wires and hes also running the risk of getting them really hot

4 gauge is fine, But if u want to drop down to a 2 gauge then it only delivers more power. U dont necessarily need 2 gauge until u step up to even more power. Just make sure to get a bigger fuse for your wire. I just got a 200 fuse to go with my 4 gauge wire 2 days ago. I have a db (vertigo) 2000w 2ohm monoblock amp, and it is really powerful..I am running 4 10" subs off of it and the amp is really good.
