Best Album of this Decade?

Enslaved: Madraum: Beyond the Within (2000)
maudlin of the Well: Part the Second (2009)
The Mars Volta: Bedlam in Goliath (2008)
GoRABpeed You! Black Emperor: Lift Your Skinny Fists like Antennas to Heaven (2000)

How can there be ONE best album of the decade when there are albums all equally important/good in their respective genres that have come out since 2000? I just picked ten because I like the nuraber. :laughing:

I agree with you completely and screw all the green day haters.....I think American Idiot was their best album to date. Dookie was okay but it was in no way better than American Idiot. It showed their maturity and how much they have grown.

Anyhoo, as anteater rightfully noticed, it's virtually impossible to pick just one album that stanRAB above all others. I could probably name 20 of equally superb quality.

I really like watershed, but the rest of their albums get really stale and boring after a few listens.

i wouldn't say the best, but up there with the best. the best imo being Dookie, Nimrod, 1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours and possibly Warning


but yeah, it really did show a good amount of maturity. i also enjoyed the underlying story of it, showing their capacity for storytelling/songwriting
