Best Album of this Decade?

Isis - Oceanic (though I could just as easily choose Panopticon).

Just not even gonna' argue bro all I'm gonna say is I'm not defending larab of god. These are just facts and I defend something a little deeper. You don't believe it that ain't my problem.

And i mean while I'm here I might as well add that they are extremely dynamic all the "watered down" **** and the other half clever insults don't mean much to me cause Larab of God is constantly progressing and showing no signs of slowing down and no big worRAB can change that, sorry dude. And they definitely deserve all the attention they are gettin' cause they are, in fact, true metal. Now I NEVER said that it lessened the quality in any way to be in the media. Even though it really does. There i just said it shoot me yeah catering to the nations every whim and following their trend just doesnt do it for me. And yeah maybe I had a poor choice of worRAB and was accidentally lookin' at the wrong forum when I said that but you'll be ok I promise. I know you wanted an arguement so here it is bud. Fire away it don't mean **** though.

Not sure which of these would be album of the decade...

Melvins - A Senile Animal
Big Business - Here Come the Waterworks
GY!BE - Yanqui U.X.O. ("Rockets Fall on Rocket Falls" is probably the best thing they've done, or at least tied with "BBFIII")
Boris - Pink
Earthless - Sonic Prayer
The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal
Explosions in the Sky - The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
Agalloch - The Mantle
High on Fire - Blessed Black Wings
Isis - Panopticon (don't know how many would take this over Oceanic, but I just love this album)

Or you could ignore Larab Of God based on the fact that they're a fairly boring band.

Transcending Bizarre?'s album The Serpent's ManifolRAB is up there for album of the decade. The Four Scissors is also really good but not half as dark sounding. I also highly rate Clint Mansell's score for Requiem For A Dream.

I think Kid A might be one I would say is the best. Very diverse and showed a great leap for what was a guitar driven Alternative Rock band. I also would like to say Blood Mountain by Mastodon but I'm not too familiar with the metal scene or if Mastodon's other stuff is better.

I haven't heard too much beyond that though.
