Most probably.

It's so refreshing. I liked Nude With Boots but Senile Animal was a new leaf, new lineup, sounded phenomenal, and was far more assertive than the former.

Which acts in this thread are media absorbed, and why is being absorbed a bad thing? Popularity doesn't make the music not quality. Even so LoG do a good job of pedaling themselves to the masses of idiots who haven't heard any real metal. LoG is about as mainstream and watered down as metal gets. Not to mention they're all over magazines and MTV so they're guilty of the same things you're harpooning non-offenders for.

The rest of your fanboyism rant is so ridiculous I'm not sure it deserves a response other than "LOL @ LOG BEING IN THEIR OWN GENRE"

i didn't realize this was the rock/metal sub forum. I like Fall of Ideals and This Darkened Heart about the same though.

What do you guys think that the best album of this decade has been? I don't think there have been a lot of iconic albums at all in the 2000's, but maybe I'm just not listening to the right stuff :)

I would have to say that My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" is up there.

Along with The Killers "Hot Fuss."

And the White Stripes "White Blood Cells."

Also, as much as I hate to admit it, Nickelback's "The Long Road" album was insanely popular (but was it THAT good? No!)

My favorite of this decade is Kaada/Patton's Romances. I'm not sure if it quite fits into the rock/metal board though.

If I must stick to rock and metal, I choose Broken Social Scene's self titled which kind of loosely fits into rock.

Anteater you don't have to list 10. I says "What is THE BEST album of this decade?". You can list 1 or you can list 100. It dose'nt matter.

Well I listen to all different types of music, even some metal. But I'm not a big fan of screaming / harsh vocals. But yeah, I totally respect people's opinions. Just not for me.

God, album of the decade, now there's a broad and very open and, uh, difficult tag to find a single album for...

I'd say After Everything Now This by the Church, but of course I am horribly biased...
