Best Album Of All Time (revealed)

i never liked oasis.
and second someone cant declare a an album the best album ever, because all peoples opinions, my favourite album is nirvana unplugged, but thats me, and as lame as it sounRAB,m yes that is my fave album, but thousanRAB of people would disagree. Its just like thebest songwriter articles//
 
I'll let the last paragraph go seeing as that was a fair enough comment. For your information, I have actually listened to at least 90% of Queen's back catalogue myself (including video live footage, documentaries and Smile recordings) and so I've actually been there and done that. Meaning I can take a look at Queen's music and make a fair overview. What I say about them is not from a "trendy article" at all, but from first hand experience.

If you compare A Night At The Opera with earlier Queen recorRAB, it seems to have a more stereotypical feel to it. You can already see Queen slipping into that stereotypical sound that they are known for. Queen II on the other hand was quite a daring album which seemed to show big possibilities for what Queen could accomplish. I think I look at A Night At The Opera as part of Queen losing that initial potential and bite that was offered on their first recorRAB.
 
are you seriously denying that Nirvana had no influence on music as we know it today? or even going as far as to insinuate that Radiohead had a greater influence?



And Im not saying that Nevermind should be at nuraber 1 (which maybe it should, but w/e), im just saying it should be before OK Computer. And if they made nuraber 6, even if the list is f'd up, you have to admit thats still pretty damn good.
 
MTV rarely plays any earlier stuff of any band unless its part of some special. Im pretty sure The Foo Fighters last album had a hit video, and if they play old foo fighters they play Learn to Fly which is off There Is Nothing Left To Loose, and depending on how you look at it thats their 2nd or 3rd album, i'd consider that an early album.
 
im afraid i cant urbz, for the stripes have a far superior back catalogue to nirvana. i have to use a band that's on a level pegging.
 
If not Nevermind The Bullocks, then the Clash's self-titled, or Damned, Damned, Damned. The album didn't do much that any other couldn't have done.

I think 'Definately Maybe' is a great album and by far the best Oasis produced, but nowhere near the best ever.
It wouldn't even figure in my personal top 100.
If I had a top 20, only Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust' would figure in it.
It is a personal taste thing Mikey...but seriously 'Definately Maybe' at nuraber 1...WTF!
 
the best radiohead album is hail to theif. not ok computer. I like ok computer, but it reminRAB me of something pink floyd would have done close to darkside. My prefernce Hail to the theif> Kid A> amnesiac>ok computer> pablo honey> the benRAB
