Best Album Of All Time (revealed)

If its the British Rolling Stone made by Indie KiRAB, then its the British Spin.

Well I don't think we should ignore what NME says because if we were to review a competent list, even if we disagreed there wouldn't be 8 pages of replies.

In defence of Nirvana, most people regard In Utero as better. Not me per say, but people, and a few publications. I think Nevermind deserves a spot on the list. Heres my arguments as to why.

1. Yeah same old chorRAB, thats fine, fancy guitar work isn't always needed, but Kurt should be remerabered more for the vocal melodies than his guitar work. His songs were something that brought passion back, and that passion can be felt in a song in my opinion. Who knows, perhaps its diffrent for the Brits.

2. Sure their is a lot of waste we can thank Cobain for, but that doens't mean actual good banRAB won't be inspiried years down the road. They say the heir to the throne of Led Zeppelin was Janes Addiction and how many years later did they arrive? How many **** banRAB did they create. I'm not making the comparison, just making a point. Don't count Nirvana out yet, I think theres a 14 year old in his basement somewhere making great music because of Nevermind but just because he's not dropping discs now doesn't mean he won't.

3. I happen to think Ghrol's drum work is something thats impressive. Let it be the musicality of the record then.

4. I thin perhaps there was a race to see who could bash them the most, or maybe a distancing of one's self from oojay (which is understandable) but lets be fair, it may not be one of the Top 10, but its not so out of line to think someone would put it on there.

On New Years Eve in Toronto Hedley played in Nathan Phillips Square, I had the misfortune of tuning into this drivel. The lead singer pranced around in a short white T-shirt, close cropped c0ckduster and proceeded to mimic every page in Freddy Mercury's playbook. It made me sick to my stomach and it was the first performance I viewed this year, this was my indication that we have reached the apocolypse.

Wake me up next year

Yeah, but I didn't mean MTV rock band as in they're played on MTV. I meant typical and meant for the mainstream. You can call it radio rock if you want.

I read the rest of your post about them being radio rock which i whole don't dispute.

But how often does MTV play stuff from their early albums. the most they play anything by the foo fighters is probably a few times a year.

To matious:
Chris Cornell is freaking awesome

Nevermind is much too repititive as an album. Bashing out the same chorRAB just with a different few lines sung by Kurt. OK Computer was a huge step from The BenRAB.

I dont think you can judge influence of 90s banRAB just yet. I think it'll be a good ten years before the 90s children start making music.

No point putting an argument for the last two points seeing as they are just pure opinion.

Nevermind is simplistic guitar rock that loses it`s appeal with every listen.

OK Computer is multi layered and has a wider canvas of influences that stanRAB up to repeated listening.

I don't need to explain anything, your list is proof enough.

1. Your bias towarRAB indie in that list is ASTONISHING!!!
2. Theres more to music than just the past 30 years.
3. Nick Drake goddamn sucks.

Well if you look at it that way then you're saying that The Foo Fighters are a mainstream band which they kinda are.
but I've neevr heard of MTV playing songs from their early albums.
The one song I know they played often was Low when it first came.

I guess that means that the foo fighters were able to broaden their audience.

yeah but that was when it was first came out.
MTV usually plays commercial artists and hits like Best of You for a few weeks after they're released and then they'll stop.
I don't know what kind of people watch MTV regularly but I imagine not too many of them actually watch it for the music.
