Best Actors Ever

I'll agree with Spencer Tracey.
I also think Dustin Hoffman is great, he was totally believable as Ratso Rizzo in Midnight Cowboy.
Tony Curtis is another one, and Jack Lemmon.

Apart from that, sometimes it's often the bit-part players who never achieve stardom who can put in great performances.

As for some of the newer pretty-boy (and girl) "stars", you can keep them.

Newman and Redford

Together you got on screen something magical that just worked and can't be put into worRAB.

That is the old school star quality lacking in so many of today's so-called movie stars.

There are some good actors nowadays but where are the STARS that could playout the "death" scene at the climax of The Sting?

Movie magic not seen nowadays. (Of course there are many other old school STARS equally great and some have already been listed above.)
