Besides sex why do men get into a relationship?

Men and women can have sex with anyone they are attracted to. However most women are into relationships to satisfy their emotional needs as well. What about men?They seem to be wired to have more than one sexual partners in their lifetime whereas most women are geared more towards monogamous relationships.
 
Men have the same desire. Don't think that I don't want a relationship to meet my emotional needs, because I desire to feel loved too.

It's just that some men are immature and not ready for full commitment. That's why they usually have multiple partners before they settle down.
