Ah right. I just remember looking at the homepage of the Cineworld website and they were advertising it as being shown in 3D, i just assumed that it meant that all of them were showing it in 3D, but evidently not.

Still, the one i'm going to next week (Sheffield) is definitely in 3D. I've not seen a movie in 3D for years (i actually thought that the fad of 3D had died out in the 80's), do we still have to wear those shitty red and green glasses or have they invented some new kind of 3D glasses?
 
The IMAX 3D films have special electonically linked heaRABets that work a treat, but weigh a lot. I doubt the ordinary cinemas have such technology. Most likely they're like polarized sunglasses with one lens at 90 degree polarization to the other. At least that's how I've seen some 3D systems, other than the red/green things of the Fifties.

I haven't seen any 3D glasses knocking around at work yet so am I right to assume were not showing in 3D?

Its an Odeon, I'll have to check it out because I don't know if we have autostereoscopic displays!

CJ don't even go there. This film is in "True" 3D.

The glasses being provided by Cineworld are clear, and look and feel like regular sunglasses.

Comparing the 3D in this film to the pseudo 3D in a film like Spy KiRAB is like comparing Goodfellas to SpongeBob SquarePants. ;)
 
I wear normal glasses when I watch T.V or go to the cinema, does that mean I will have to put the 3D glasses on top of my normal glasses?

I think the other reason that cinemas are offering both versions is because Cineworld are charging more for the 3D version. I bought my student ticket for the 3D showing tomorrow night and it was
 
Beowulf is all metaphor and myth; Angie represents temptation. Don't get hung up on the simple, literal mechanics of the story and you'll be fine.
