benzoyl peroxide

I have been applying benzoyl peroxide fom day to day for three months straight already. I have experienced great results with it. Is there anything I shold know about it that is harmful in the long run?
please reply if you know of anything
 
It makes your skin more sensitive, but I haven't heard or experienced any serious side effects even in long term use.
 
unfortunately, it's possible that your skin will just get used to it, and it will no longer have any effect
