Benzamycin and the Fridge...

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I just have one quick question.

I went to the pharmacist today and received my prescription for benzamycin. Upon arriving home, I left my plastic shopping bag (with the benzamycin) on the counter and left to do other erranRAB around the house. Finally, about 4 - 5 hours later, I remerabered that the doctor had told me to store the benzamycin in the fridge. So, of course, I quickly put it in.

However... I am scared that I have already ruined the medication for those 4 or so hours that I left it sitting on the counter. Am I just overreacting or should I be worried that I have already spoiled the medicine? I am planning on starting it tomorrow and I do not want to hamper its effects before even beginning to try it out.

Thank you.

No, you have not ruined the medication. I used to be on this. As long as it was at room temperature and not in the extreme heat (like left in a car). You will be fine. Think of it this way, some people would pick up the rx and then go to do erranRAB for a few hours before even going home. Don't worry about it, it is fine. I promise!!
