BENQ digital camera - automatic flash problems?

I own BENQ digital camera. Every time I turn it on, it is set up to take pictures without flash. You all probably know that the best way to take pictures is when cameras are set up on automatic flash, so it can "decide" on its own whether there is flash needed or not. So, I set it up like that, take some pictures, turn it off, and then when I want to take pictures again, I turn it on and it is again set up to be non automatic flash, no flash at all! Why is that so, what should I do so it would always be the same whenever i turn it on?
 
u can try to update your BENQ' firmware. Some software problems can be, and new software can have less problems.
