Benicar withdrawal Symtoms

I have been having too many side effects from Benicar and I want to stop using the medication. I've only been on this medication for 3 weeks. I would like to stop cold turkey, however, I want to know if I should expect any harsh withdrawal symtoms.--Help!!!
 
Hello, I have been on this medication for about three months and experienced some really harsh side effects. I have been off it for about three days and am experiencing some nausea, headache and a general unwellness. The muscle cramps and weakness have now gone. I'm sure you will be feeling better in a week, hang in there and good luck!

I'm contemplating doing the same thing. What side effects are you having? I have been on Benicar and Vytorin for about 3 weeks. I'm experiencing constant lightheadedness and nausea.
 
Hi, I have had awful side effects with Benicar, the worst ones have been profound muscle weakness to the point where I couldn't do any exercise, ringing in the ears and dizziness with nausea. I have been off this drug now for a week and feel back to my "old self" again.
I looked up Vytorin and found it is in the statin family and I know that this can cause muscle weakness as well.
My doctor said that Benicar certainly does have these side effects.
