Benefit of going to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia Law schools?

since very rigorous undergraduate preparation is required for admission and tuition is ridiculously expensive, is it worth it going to one of these upper eschelon schools and why?

Yes. You get a great education, you meet other intelligent students, most get great jobs, and many become famous lawyers, judges, and politicians.

These are the schools which produce Presidents and Supreme Court Justices.

The people who graduated at the top of class from these schools used to command, before the recession hit, $160,000.00 per year starting salaries at the largest law firms.

There are too many lawyers. It's a waste of time going to law school. Unless you're connected, it's a dumb idea.
