Belt noise i think not a mechanic so im not sure.?

Sometimes when i start my car (2002 oldsmobile alero) The belt is making a weird noise like a toy almost, When i turn the wheel the sound gets louder after the car has been running for awhile it seems to either stop or become very very quiet any idea as to what this can be. Also im pretty sure its not the engine but rather the belt
 
yea, just adjust your belt, tighten it. but if it's cracked, you'll have to replace it.
 
its probably a belt causing this too happen when their cold they will do this until they warm up with the engine,you can replace it or adjust it and stop it from doing that,either way works,if its old id just replace it and be done with it,good luck.
