belt light flashing on my 2008 kawasaki brute force 650?

bought the damn thing a month ago and have had more problems with it than i have had with any other 4 wheeler ever! i havent even made my first payment on it yet. first it was the fan not kickin on now the belt light is flashing. the bike idols fine but when at half throttle it back fires and sounds like its gonna stall. u cannot ride it, cuz it wont go above 10 miles an hour with out backfiring and stalling. what does the belt light mean? we changed the spark plugs on it too. we thought that would fix the problem. the bike is belt driven, so im guessing its some sort of safty feature that the bike shuts off if the belt light is flashing so that way i dont go and blow it up...which i would like to lol. please help!!
 
Sounds like you have a serious timing issue, and the "Belt" light might indicate a timing belt. Take it back. If you've only had it for a month, you've definitely got a warranty case.
