Bellum Omnium Contra Omnes

I: Sceleratum

(this part is instrumental, but I figured I should put the title up there)

II: Vivere Est Dolere

Condemned
Not to death, but to life
And as yet all unconscious
Of what their sentence means

Try to imagine
As nearly as you can
What amount of misery
Pain and suffering of every kind
The sun shines upon in its course
You will admit that it would be better
If as little on earth as on the moon
The sun were able to bring forth life
And if here as there
The surface were in a crystalline state

III: Bellum Omnium Contra Omnes

Forever haunted by this moral guilt - ceaselessly plagued with no respite
Trying in vain to open eyes that wish rather to remain closed
If only we could break free from this prison that we have built for ourselves
Lay utterly to ruin this unforgivable atrocity and burn our bridges
To shed the dreadful weights of wisdom, pride, shame, guilt and fear
Return once more to the primal; savage wilderness
Bellum omnium contra omnes
Turn back and look the other way; crawl back to your safe haven

IV: Sperare Est Abnuere Veritatem

To hope is but to deny reality
Never shall we return
Led so far astray
Worshipping fool's gold

And so tormented we shall endure
Tormenting evermore the voiceless
Enslaving and degrading
Hope is but a feeble lie

This is for a very, very long song. I used some stuff from Schopenhauer for part II. None of it rhymes but I don't really care for that.
