Bell's unlimitied data plan

Actually the word "unlimited" is set to restrictions under their Terms of Service which is expected by every company that the customer read and therefore is automatically 'signed' when activating their service.

As it states, the user used the phone to tether which is not supported and therefore he abused.
If he used the phone, #1) He wouldn't have as ridiculous charges, #2) He would probably not download as many high bandwidth files to his phone, #3) The charges of abuse wouldn't be as bad as the one's he received. (He should be happy they are what they are and is ultimately fighting a losing battle)

Unlimited?
Yeah, Unlimited...
Cool!
[month later]Huh, what do you mean there is limits to what I can and can't do with my unlimited data?

Tethered data not included! is the warning that hard to give out?

True. We're falling prey to the American way. Always looking for a loophole and abusing the system, and if you're not successful, you sue. Frivolous lawsuits. I agree, if you're not sure, ASK.

Ask? The rep will say what's on the flyer, unlimited data plan. I am pretty sure it was unlimited under "reasonable usage" but that was certainly not printed anywhere and the term "reasonable" is like super foggy.

Companies have to post saying Batteries not included when they sell electronics... Same should be here... A little warning to the customer about can and shouldn't!

Reasonable is sometimes printed with white ink to the customer!

I read somewhere that he didnt have unlimited data... but had unlimited mobile browser and he assumed that he could tether with mobile browser.

yeah, that's what i heard, unlimited mobile browser....who cares, he got a good discount....80,000 off, nobody gives that kind of discount.
