Hi there all..I am thinking returning to bell Tv after rogers piss me off more..I was with them 4 yrs ago..Does any one got good offer to return. What is the telephone number for wire winback.Does any have good story to tell or secrets..I want the movie packages,7theme,hd pvr and one receiver for under $90.00 or close to it..Also how does the Dual tuner work on Hd PVR 9242 model..

Thank you for all ideas..

im currently with rogers as well and am looking for the best offer to switch. losing the 15% is gonna be the final straw...

Well, I am a bell Winback offer and I got home phone with 10 calling features, all 3 insurance plans (wire, phone, and satellite) plus unlimited Canada and US for $47.95 per month (plus $5 bundle discount, plus $5 long distance discount), performance internet for $47.95 (with $15 discount for 12M, and an additional $10.00 for 12M) which gives me 90GB of bandwidth, and finally the TV. I get the Digital Standard, 11 themes, 5HD themes, TMN, Leafs TV, $3 digital fee, and a HD/PVR 9242 for $140.00, but I get a 30% discount on my service for 12M. What do you think?

Wowzer! Great deal! Would you mind reporting back in a month on this thread with what the full amount (before taxes) you actually enjoyed out of this offer?

I asked for win back offer one year ago talked to retentions. Got one year 50% off programing and one year free rental of 9241. But switch back to Shaw since got a win back offer from them free pvr dual tuner moto. 3416.

I, too, am receiving a Winback offer from Bell, home phone being brought back today from Rogers Home Phone; three months free. Wanted to go with Bell TV, however, because the building I live in is a VDSL building it is not yet equipped for high definition television. Have to stay with Rogers for high definition television.

Worth noting though, Rogers does provide the option of purchasing their digital terminals, hence, saving the monthly rental fees whereas, subscriber's to Bell TV who live in VDSL buldings there is no option to purchase the set top box; rental only.:(

Will l try the number they offer me Hd pvr, revieveir, movie pack and Hd all for 104.00 with tax that more than l pay with rogers then going to send me over to tv section for deals but l try that already...any tips

well just got off the phone with them 30min no deal no free hd pvr or anything..Same deal as rogers or more...Help well be great.

sjb2003, were you expecting that a Wireline Winback offer to be more generous than a customer loyalty (retentions) offer?

Skeptical?
I was too, when the door to door Rogers rep offered me a deal too good to be true (it wasn't true)
It's good to get any "promises" in writing, or to record the call, in case there are any "confusion" as to what was offered
It sounds like a decent deal, not too good to be true, but I guess he will find out after his first bill...

There are several VDSL buildings in and around Toronto that also have a stacked system installed. Bell just do not seem to want to inform the residents for some reason.

I was in one such building about 3 weeks ago, assisting with a Home Theatre installation and a 9242 HD PVR install. A resident saw me going up in the elevator with the receiver and commented on the fact it would not work. Imagine his surprise when i explained that it would.....lol

Drop me a PM, I will take a look in a Database see if it is available for you yet.

I signed up

have anyone tried to canceled they phone service with bell to get better deals on Tv..

I don't know about their tv service but with the internet sucks. years ago if you complain, things get fixed. Now adays, your situation got worse. It all started when I got so much offers from other phone providers for a lot cheaper phone charge + internet charge. Unfortunately I cannot just walk out due to the fact that I rely heavily of using "sympatical" flag. So I decide to call them to see if they can do better, 3 times complains that they promised to do better that I end up saving a penny or 2 but need to pay a lot more on so call upgrade /downgrade. Now I just zipped my mouth up. A very painful experience I tell you. Would I consider Bell expressview,no,no thanks.

My brother has the same problem too. He recently cancelled Bell & sign up to another provider. Bell sent him a bill,A panelty charge for over a month (over $100) to get out of the Bell sXXt.

sjb2003, if you call the Bell Household Customer Loyalty Queue (thru 310-BELL), they can only offer you customer loyalty Save Offers (like a free rental, a percentage off your programming for 6 or 12 months, up to 4 months free, or free Premium Movies for 6 or 12 months) if you threaten to cancel existing ACTIVE Bell TV service with your ACTIVE wireline account. I don't believe they can offer you a new any special new customer discounts.

The offer from the Wireline Winback deptartment is the best available unless you live in Quebec.
