Seems to me that Bell TV both "sucks and blows". I initially subscribed to the $10 HD pack only to have the rules change, or have they? Initially I was advised that if you subscribed to a SD channel the equivalent HD channel would be included in the $10 HD package if it was available, automatically. Then Bell changed the rules and devised the (5) $15 HD Theme Packs. They are on record as stating that just because you subscribe to the SD channel, you no longer are automatically going to get the HD equivalent (ie TLC, National Geographic, Show Case), unless you purchase the corresponding HD theme pack. Now the Bell TV web site states the following regarding "Free HD Channels; "Available with an HD receiver and subscription to packages containing the associated digital channel(s)."
It's apparent to me that some channels in HD are only available when you subscribe to the corresponding SD channnel and others don't fall into this criteria. Well Bell you do "suck and blow" and you should not be able to manipulate the rules to your financial benefit. I'll be calling Bell TV tomorrow to expect some sort of compensation.
