Does anyone have information on Bell TV adding RTP International or any other Portuguese channels to its international programming?

I have spoken to a marketing person at Bell and they told me it might be added this year or the start of next.

Thanks

Good Luck!

Bell refuses to add any Portuguese channels to their lineup, supposedly because they don't think they can make any money off them?! Piracy is no longer a problem with the switch to N3 (at least for now, who knows what the future holds) so I don't see why they can't add at least one channel and see how many subscriptions they get?!

They advertised more internationals with the launch of their latest satellite (Nimiq 4 I believe?!) but I have yet to see them add anything new. They are far behind Rogers in this regard, I guess they are no longer looking to compete with them?! They need to add, among others, Portuguese, German, Korean & Hebrew. As far as Portuguese they should add both RTPi & FPTV, offer them in a package.

dont waste your breath. i begged bell to add portguese channels for years now and they simply refuse. closest we ever came was euronews.. it was just news from mostly England with Portuguese voice over.

I personnaly gave up on Bell for RTPi and got a FTA receiver and a one-meter dish aimed at AMC-4. It's free and it's legal.

SPtv is useless.... totally useless. At least the one in the US shows all the soccer games.

But here in good old Canada you can only go to bars to watch the games.
