Bell Stops Selling The Superstations ($5/mo)

The rule mentioned has been in existence since February 1, 1983. That's when First Choice (now TMN) and Superchannel (the original, now called MC) were launched. The Superstations were also tied to The Family Channel. Note that the Superstations are an optional addition to TMN and MC. That is not reflected in Bell TVs packages. The Superstations are optional with a Bell subscription to SC (and possibly TFC), which reflects the true dependency requirements of these channels under CRTC regulations.

Good call. Totally washed out SD picture, among the worst. To be fair, the SD PQ isn't much better for superstations on Shaw.

i get the superstations without the movies..and at 5 $...and I am a 5 month old customer

It used to be an offer any agent could make when, and only when (unless you had good powers of persuasion) someone was removing the premium movies packages. Now having the Superstations on its own is no longer available at all, and can no longer be added by an agent.
People who had it on their account will continue to have it, until they request to remove it or add a premium movies package.
