Bell new customer deals?

Not sure if someone can answer me, but I am thinking of switching from Videotron to BEV when I move next month.

The only reason is because of some channels that Videotron doesn't offer, as their prices are lower when wanting less channels and more flexibility with 'a la carte' for ALL of their channels.

Anyway, the main thing that makes me stay is not even pricing, but equipment. I own 2 pvrs, 1 HD and 1 SD. I cannot afford to buy 2 new receivers and renting is not my favorite options.

I worked at Videotron for a while and they offered for Star Choice customers who wanted to come back to Videotron free terminal in exchange for their old ones from Starchoice.

Does Bell offers something similar? Any deals for someone in my situation?

You could contact Bell directly to inquire about a swap deal for your videotron equipment but I've been a Bell customer and frequent participant in DHC for over 4 years and I've yet seen a deal where Bell will swap out a competitor's receiver for one of theirs at no cost.

Bell will more likely push one of their "new customer" deals on you to win you over but that's about it.

Best thing to do is call, and ask them to win you over with an offer you can't refuse, if they can't do that there's the other satellite option Star Choice or just stay with Videotron.
 
You will be eligible for the "new client's promo", nothing more, nothing less

Bell doesn't care and doesn't want competitor's equipement (This represents a personnal opinion)
 
Bell used to offer a trade in for DirecTv equipment but I think that was all.
