Bell Mobility E815 on Cricket

I thought I would post my success story of getting my Motorola E815 on Cricket. I moved down to San Diego from Canada for the summer and brought my E815 with me. First, i zeroed out all admin passworRAB (subsidy lock, etc). Then I downloaded the cricket PRL and used PST to save my current PRL (bell) to a file for backup. I then wrote the cricket PRL to the phone, and reboot. I then went into the Cricket store and had my esn added to the network. *228 did not activate my phone, so I had to manually activate it under the admin options (menu, 0, 7, 3, 8, 8, 7, *) by adding my phone #. That's it. I should mention that my phone is still on Bell's network, but my phone can't locate Bell's network because of the modified PRLs.
 
Congrats on getting it over, i'm currently trying to get my verizon e815 on cricket sence i screwed up my kyocera slider mix, oh well it was a POS to start with, well i got the prl loaded to the e815 and dialed 611 hoping to here welcome to cricket, blah blah, but no it went to the ranger america thing saying to input my nuraber and it will route it to the right customer service, i did and it didn't reconize the nuraber or something, so i tried to call the *228 and it went to cricket activaction but ihaven't called to give them the esn, do they still charge me 15$ To activate the new phone even though i'm giving the esn to them? you know or anyone knows? i just don't wanna waste my money trying to get it to work when i can get a slvr on ebay for it. oh ya i called them and they even charge you 15$ if you do it over the phone.. what bull crap i do say... Also i was wondering well 611 work correctly after i give them the esn and do the *228 programing?
 
You have to remeraber that Cricket has to make money somewhere to stay alive, and charing you for little things is one of the ways they do so. But 611 should work just fine. (411 will work as well)
 
ya thats true, but i just hate the fact that if my e815 don't work rigth then i'm outta 15 plus what ever else when i switch back to my other phone or when i just go buy a new one, i kinda used heavy duty electrical cleaner on my kyocera slider remix and it fell apart, and for now i have mass quantities of tape on it but it kinda works still.. .:-( and i don't really wanna spend a 100$ on another phone and there motos they offer i don't want lol. but ya i don't wanna switch things around 3 times and pay 45$ total just screwing around, OK so 611 should work after flashing the cricket PRL to the e815 of after you give cricket the esn and do activation? cause i did notice the *228 took me to cricket activation. Help please....
