This pop-up message appears as a reminder that you must replace and activate the SmartCard in your receiver. Not doing so will result in an interruption of your programming.

1. If you have not yet replaced and activated the new Smartcard(s) in the given time limit, then you'll see this message. It's critical to replace and activate all of your SmartCards as soon as possible.

2. Follow the instructions inside the mailer and replace the SmartCard for your receiver(s). Make sure the correct card goes to the designated receiver, as directed in the letter. Once completed, you need to activate your new SmartCard(s).

3. To do so, use our online tool and have your letter handy. You should be able to view your programming within 15 minutes of reactivation. In unusual cases, this may take up to 2 hours.

4. If you have activated your SmartCard(s) and, 2 hours later, cannot view your programming, visit the online activation tool, select the receiver with which you're having difficulty and follow the troubleshooting steps. If that doesn't solve the problem, call Bell.

If you're receiving or seeing this pop-up message and haven't received your SmartCard mailer, contact Bell.

I have posted it here because Digital Home's email is being inundated with people asking me (and not Bell) to activate their smartcard or how to activate their smartcard or how to deal with problems.

If The instructions here don't help or you have questions or additional problems then I recommend you call Bell.
 
Are legacy 3100 and PVR (forget the number) affected by this? I don't have errors, and have not received new cards. Unless my wife never opened the BEV mail and threw it out...
 
ALL receivers EXCEPT the 6141 and 9242 are subject to the card swap. Not all cards have been mailed out yet.
