I am trying to find out what channels from Bell Express will cover the Olympics, especially tomorrow opening ceremony.

I tried calling ExpressVu, but their office is closed.

Can someone please advise? I have Sport 1 theme, hopefully, it is covered in there.

Thanks

CBC and NBC have the bulk of the coverage. TSN also has some.
There is also a mosaic channel availalbe.

I only SDTV, can someone kindly advise me which channel numbers they are? I lost the program guide .........

I saw about 2 hours from this mornings coverage of the OC. Have to say that this is the way TV is meant to be watched. Just the "show" no annoying comments and no commercials. In the future, i can see having a channel for each sport in this manner. As i get older I have less and less time to waste on Commercials and the opinions of broadcasters. I say: Bravo! Bell Expressvu lets see more of this.

AS a postscript, i have PVR'd entire Flames games and watched them in one hour without missing any action. There is no excuse for stretching out a 1 hour event into 3.

I've had no luck getting Bell TV's no commentary channels. Each time I try to select the "order" option my PVR (9200) shuts down completely. Any suggestions or anyone also having this problem?

Yes my 9200 reboots and my 6141 locks up and I have to unplug it so it can reboot. This must be the $3.00 extra charge Bell instituted a year or so back for improving service.

I would very much like a mosaic channel feed for only HD content,
Much like the iTV mosaic channel for SD content.

A mosaic in HD is what a large screen HDTV is made for!:D

It is my understanding that the mosaic channel technology only works at the moment for SD. Am I wrong about this?

I have made 3 calls to "Bell TV" - three different attempts to get 866 and 867 working - all followed by an intense sales pitch to upgrade and still the channels are unavailable - these guys have the worst tech team in the business and service is horrendous - so sad

If any one has been able to access these channles without phone line I would love to hear how you did this?

Hi -
I have a 9200 receiver (one only), don't ever watch PPV, and it is very inconvenient to hook up my receiver to a phone line. If I "order" the BeV free olympic coverage channels will I start having issues with the receiver wanting to call in? It would be nice to watch that extra coverage but I don't want to deal with the hassle of hooking up to a phone line, etc.

Thanks,

-S

Phone line won't make any difference. I have a phone line hooked up to my 9200. Receiver still locks up and shuts down when I hit "order".

I order the 2 PPV channels each day by phone at 1-866-686-7337... I had no problem for the moment.

I think a "MultiVu" channel would be great right now to quickly switch between different programming.

EDIT: Nevermind... I didn't look hard enough. Channel 275 apparently has it.

Every time I tune to these channels they're showing the same thing that's on the main CBC channel. I was hoping they'd show other events. This is just a waste of space.
