bell button piercing help?

im getting my belly button pierced on my b-day in july and when they pierced my ears and cartilage they used a hoop and i don't want a hoop for my belly so i was wondering if anyone knows and if they do use a hoop can i have them pierce it with a ring i want? thanks

Ask them to use something straight. It will heal faster. & then you can switch it to whatever you want once it heals.
