I have Bell/Aliant internet which is a wireless connection I presume since my laptop works just fine on it and I didn't need to do anything to get it running.
I need to get my desktop working.The tech at bell in his infinite wisdom, installed the wireless router in my basement. If I want to hook up via a cable I have to run about 80 feet or cable. I have a D Link wireless router that I used previously. Can I connect this to my desktop to link into the wireless router?
I must add that I'm not very familar with this type of set up. I've always had the cable connections previously so when I discovered this was a different sort of set up I've been a little confused.
