My mother was diagnosed several years ago, and it appears that me and my twin brother might have it.

I have been getting canker sores in my mouth for as long as I can remember. I even get them on my uvula, very painful.

I am wondering if you can get them in your throat? I have a feeling like there is something in my throat, and I wonder if it could be a canker sore? I have a feeling that it could be... the way it came, and the way it feels.

Anyone know a lot about this disease?

I don't know A LOT about this. Yes you can get the sores in your throat. A couple of doctors feel I have this, but I don't believe I do. There is an association online for this and they have a lot of good information. The testing for this is pretty vague. With your mom having the condition, it would be highly likely that you have it also.
