I've got this bullshit bug on my (begin2search bar) and it's getting me in trouble with the boss.

He can't stop bitching about the damn pop-ups, which were about 10,000 times worse yestarday, but I cleared quite a bit away. There's just a few unfamiliar things lurking in my work computer, like this B2S bullshit.

So either I fix the problem now to halt the bitching (easy way to get rid of it, please) or I fix his jaw together with wires to stop the bitching.



I seem to be all out of wire at the time, and duct tape just doesn't hold like it used to, so how can I get rid of this crap?
 
Ok, another thing, (and I've run adaware and spybot a few times of course) is alot of these words are highlighted with "sponsored links". That's becoming rather annoying as well.
 
Well the BEST way to rid yourself of this stuff is to download and run HijackThis. You run it and it will give you a list of everything running on your IE. Now unless your a wizard at reading code or have an intuitive understanding of what you need to delete post the results on the HijackThis forum and the Mods will tell you what to delete. It really an amazing program just not user friendly. Adaware also works but it misses some stuff...most notable VX soft ware and the adware.optimizer programs. I think they have some sort of $$$ agreement with Lavasoft....
 
I am not an Intellect, like duztinsgirl but you might check for the below:

Use Msconfig and make sure you don't have TVM loading: It's common with this bar:

- HKLM\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe
- HKCU\..\Run: [TV Media] C:\Program Files\TV Media\Tvm.exe
Look here for:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\winenc32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\winb2s32.dll

Go and search google for begin2search or go to their website and you have to download an uninstaller.. it works i had to get rid of it too..
