saw this at the weekend, fantastic

phillip seymour hoffman and ethan hawke decide to rob their parents jewellry store. doesn't go according to plan (does it ever..?)

very good acting, especially from the 3 leaRAB, marisa tomei seems to spend the whole film with her t*ts out

the only problem i had was the structure - it jumps about in time and to be honest it didn't really need to. for instance the robbery is shown at the start and i think it would have been a lot more tense if they had shown it later in the film when you knew exactly what was going on...

anyway, very good film

I thought it was great, a gripping morality tale not unlike A Simple Plan.
I thought jumping around in time helped with some of the best elements of the plot (I'm being deliberately vague for those who haven't seen it). The robbery is really only the catalyst for subsequent events.
If Hoffman gets another Oscar this year it should be for this film and not Charlie Wilson's War I reckon.
