to know god. god is bigger than religion, god said dont create any graven images of him for that reason, the bible is symbolic, but should be read more spiritually then physically, its message is spiritual,

i do believe christianity may be one of the best ways to find and know god through religion, but it is not the only way

Jesus the Christ, according to the Cayce readings, is the central instrument of God to make it possible for all souls to fulfill the original purpose of their creation. Cayce stated that the Body of Christ is the Father, the Mind of Christ is the Son, and the Spirit of Christ is the Holy Spirit. In other words, Jesus represented the body, mind and spirit of God.
Jesus, who became the Christ (i.e., a full manifestation of the divine consciousness in flesh), is a soul created with other souls in the beginning and, like them, a part of God's Universal Consciousness. This is not to say that the Christ Consciousness is a created being. Jesus was the created being. In the Cayce readings, the Christ Consciousness is the spiritual condition of integrally being one with God, or as Cayce would called at-one-ment.\

"The first human Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit . jesus was adam, the bible showed us how through many lifes, jesus became a christ,

Christ is presented as an advocate for us before the Godhead. To call on this protection and guidance is to call on the greatest resource available. However, the readings do not put the religion that formed around Jesus Christ above other religions. The readings are too universal for that. Seekers from any religious faith can use the power of Christ in their meditative practice and still remain loyal to their religion. Here’s an example of this perspective, from reading 281-13

Basically before Christianity everything is well and right.
There's no need for a human sacrifice...the sinners need only to repent form their sins and return to God as written in the ff. verses:

Isa:55:7: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

YES ... the Apostle Paul said, himself, ALL Israel [Jews] will be saved
and the Jews existed long before Christianity appeared. Consider this, CAYCE closed !!!

Er..

I'm gonna ignore all that tl;dr

And say that Yes, past civilisations had a damn good chance.

The greeks nearly invented the steam engine 2000 years before schedule

Christianity is nothing but a hacked religion from the Mithras religion of ancient Rome. Did you know that they too, celebrated their most important holiday on the 25th December, as the day of Mithras, which has been quietly co-opted by the Christians, just to convert the Romans? Christianity also was forced on the Pagans of Europe by medieval torture, as in the Inquisition. It is a bloodsoaked path to a false religion called christianity.

Of course, nowadays the priests in Chirches have used this so-called religion to have sex with little kids, but really, Christianity in my opinion is not a religion at all, just a collection of folklore and local customs to but up a corporate empire under the bishop of Rome.

Pope Leo the fifth, was known to have said : "This myth of Jesus, has served us well."

First, Chris M fails to give the full text of Ecclesiastes 9:4-5, which says, "Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! For the living know that they will die, but the dead [in God] know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten."

Second, in response to you stated question -- many theologians believe that when Jesus harrowed hell and paradise he taught the word of God (the Gospel so to speak) to those residing there. Hence all past civilizations could be saved, even those who had died before his coming.

To the third and most interesting question or should one say statement -- Is Edgar Cayce's vision of the Godhead accurate and if true what does it mean.

You forgot to mention that Cayce's readings affirm the existence of Atlantis, a vast continent with an advanced technology whose refugees peopled ancient Egypt as well as pre-Columbian America. In land mass, Cayce saw the size of Atlantis as equal to that of modern day Europe and many people living today are the reincarnations of Atlantean souls.

According to Cayce, Atlantean society was divided into two long-lived political factions - a "good" faction called the "Sons of the Law of One," and an "evil" faction called the "Sons of Belial."

Further, some of Cayce's readings allude to massive Earth changes - perhaps in conjunction with a pole shift - in the 1930s, 1960s, or 1990s, the rising of Atlantis in 1998, the sinking of California, and the Second Coming of Christ. Other predictions were about dramatic changes in the Earth's surface in the period from 1958 to 1998 due to a tilting in the Earth's rotational axis which would begin in 1936. None of which occurred (see first website below).

Most of your post comes from NDE (near-death)spiritualists who have taken Cayce's readings and spun a slick tale to fit their image of how they want the world and God to be (see second website).
Godspeed.
