Beep Off - for inveterate call-recorders.
We need it ... we need it BAAD !
The N95 beeps (when recording calls) at a volume nearing the pain threshold.

Mike, you gotta help us out, dude - before we lose our hearing !

Please dude, I'm begging you - I'm too young for a hearing aid.
 
Yeah, been there, done that - but the beep off just doesn't work - and I don't want to have to press 'pen' three times every every call, so I'm waiting on Beep Off S60 3rd.
But thanks for the input.
 
I've used the UltimatePortable and it doesn't beep at all.It does howerever totally suck the battery.


My mistake it seems the beep off doesn't work on N93 & N95.
 
I wouldn't mind if the beep were at a tolerable volume - as with S60-2nd devices (well my 6680's fine) ... but what's the point of Nokia making it so loud that it's not feasible to record at all ?
I've tried it from my landline to my mobile and it's painful.
You'd have thought they'd do the right thing by (recording app) developers and have made it audible rather than deafening - but developers won't sell sh*t until this beep issue is resolved.
Come on, Nokia - get your act together
