Been skinny all my life

I have been skinny all my life and it seems that it's hard for me to gain weight.I weigh either 130 to 140 and weigh 5'7.I eat fast food everyday for lunch.I usually sleep through breakfast now.I drink a lot of mountain dew and some water.I would like to put some pounds on me but I don't know a good diet that would actually work.What would be the best thing for me in terms of gaining weight and also a good workout program for me to get back in shape?
I am also in terrible shape and hardly exercise:rolleyes:
 
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here? You've listed all the things that are keeping you in poor shape, change them. Stop eating fast food, eat real meals. Exercise - muscle weighs more than fat. Cut down or completely cut out the soda.
Try getting your body adjusted to a real schedule. Get up in the morning, after an hour or two your stomach should be growling for food.
 
Cut back on the fast food, its just a waste of calories to be honest, even though its tasty.

What time do you normally wake up? Try to wake a couple of hours earlier, and if your not very hungry, have something light, like fruit, a yoghurt, okay it sounds rather boring, but you will feel better for it!

Foods which are considered to be quite healthy:

Whole grain cereals
These fill you up for longer, are low in fat, etc.

Chicken/eggs/cheese/
Great for putting on sandwiches.

Fruit/veg/yoghurt
Contain alot of vitamins, not so much the yoghurt unless it has fruit in.

If you have a low appetite eat small meals but often, cut back on the greasy foods and stick to high in protein low fat foods instead.
