Becoming an art teacher?

Right now i'm a semester or two away from getting my associates in the arts. BUT i've been considering becoming a teacher. The thing is i'm really bad at remembering names and not good at drawing. So i've considered elementary school teaching. OR been considering teaching in High school or college for like Pottery, Jewerely(sp) and/or basic stuff like that. Would it be better if I finish my Associates in the arts and get a bachelors in teaching overall? Or should I get my Associates in the arts, take a few extra classes to officially get arts education. Because the classes are the same that I need I just need to take a few history art classes for it to be education in the arts. HELP?

Also, any helpful hints if this is right for me?

If i were you, i would finish your associates then take a year long course, teaching course. Im going to do this when i go to university, as i want to be a teacher. But you can take a degree then take a year long teaching course afer to qualify as a teacher. Hope this helps.
